Wing Commander Zuber Shaikh (Retd) is a military aviator who has around 3000 flying hours of rich experience with the Indian Air Force. A Qualified Flying Instructor who has flown in the highest battlefield zones like Siachen Base Camp, Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) airstrip, Arunachal Pradesh, etc.
He represented Indian Air Force in the United Nations mission at DR Congo, Africa in 2011, where he was selected as a ‘Blue Beret’ soldier and served as a Military Aviation Officer at Goma, DR Congo.
He is a motivator, mentor & instructor at the National Defence Academy.
An influencer, passionate about long-distance running, cycling and triathlons. He has participated in seven full marathons, 12 half marathons and numerous running and cycling events & several podium finishes. He has cycled from Manali to Khardungla Top (Leh) on his mountain cycle covering a few of the highest motorable passes in the world.
He is a fitness enthusiast and an adventurer who strongly believes in the motto ‘Anima Sana In Corpore Sano’, which translates to, ‘A Sound Mind in a Sound Body’.
